Patients will usually require re-injections after 3 to 4 months, depending on the size and strength of a patient’s facial muscles.

Are the injections painful?

Wrinkle relaxer injections are usually not painful, as the needles are very small, and the treatment is quick. Some patients may experience mild discomfort or a slight pinching sensation during the injections, but this is typically well-tolerated. Sometimes, a topical numbing cream may be applied to the treatment area before the injections to minimize discomfort.
